Padel League Regulations
- The league is played in weekly rounds.
- Each round opens on Monday and closes on Sunday at 22:00 unless stated otherwise.
- Teams are responsible for scheduling their match with the opponent within the round window.
- Playing matches ahead of schedule is encouraged and fully allowed.
- If a match is not played before the deadline, the organizer may assign an administrative result.
- Playing a match earlier than its scheduled round is encouraged — teams may agree on any earlier date that works for both sides.
- Postponing a match to the following week is only allowed if agreed in advance with both the current opponents and the next round’s opponents. Otherwise the team must field a substitute or accept a technical loss.
- If teams cannot agree on a time within the round, priority goes to the team that proposed more valid time slots; the other team must adjust to one of those slots.
- Valid time slots are: weekdays 18:00–21:00 and weekends 09:00–21:00.
- Matches are played as Best of 3 FULL sets.
- If the score reaches 6–6 in a set, a standard tie-break is played to decide the set.
- Golden Point at deuce is not mandatory — players may agree on Golden Point or advantage scoring before the match starts.
- Every match must produce one clear winner.
- If players cannot finish the match for any reason, they must still report the correct score and the agreed winner.
Standings are determined using the following order:
- 1Total points
- 2Head-to-head result
- 3Total wins
- 4Total 2–0 wins
- 5Player rating
- Each team registers two core players at the start of the season.
- At least one core player must participate in every match.
- A temporary replacement player may be used if one core player is unavailable.
- A team may use up to two replacement appearances during the season.
- Replacement players must come from the same or a lower division when applicable.
- Replacement ELO cannot exceed the absent player by more than 75 rating points.
- A replacement player cannot represent multiple teams within the same competition.
- Replacement must be registered before the match begins.
- If a core player withdraws from the league, the team may request one permanent replacement.
- The replacement becomes the new core player once approved by the organizer.
- If both original core players withdraw, the team entry may be removed from the competition.
- The league uses an ELO rating system to track player performance.
- Ratings are calculated per player rather than per team.
- Ratings are updated after each match.
- If substitutions occur, rating updates apply only to the players who actually played the match.
- For now, results are reported directly to the organizer — via Playtomic or any other available channel of communication.
- The report must include the final match score and the winning pair.
- The organizer may request verification of results if necessary.
- A dedicated league platform for self-reporting will be introduced later.
- If a team fails to attend a scheduled match, the result may be recorded as a walkover.
- Standard administrative score: 0–6, 0–6.
- Repeated no-shows may lead to removal from the league.
- All players are expected to demonstrate fair competition and respectful behavior.
- Honest result reporting is required at all times.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to penalties or removal from the competition.
- The organizer has final authority on rule interpretation and dispute resolution.
- The organizer may assign administrative results when necessary.
- Exceptional cases may be reviewed and resolved at the organizer's discretion.
